Serving our community and empowering local youth since 1948
The Burlington-Edison Kiwanis Club is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of children and strengthening our community in Burlington, WA, and the surrounding Skagit Valley. Since our founding in 1948, our club has worked tirelessly to support local youth through scholarships, educational programs, and hands-on service projects.
Our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of children — one child, one community at a time — by fostering opportunities for education, leadership, and community engagement.
We raise funds through cherished community traditions, including our annual Salmon BBQ during Berry Dairy Days, our spring Golf Tournament at Skagit Golf & Country Club, and our Holiday Smoked Salmon Sale. These events not only bring our community together but also directly fund scholarships for Burlington-Edison High School seniors, with nearly $20,000 awarded this year alone to help students pursue their dreams.
Whether it’s delivering meals, organizing fundraisers, or volunteering with local programs, the members of the Burlington-Edison Kiwanis Club are dedicated to building a better future for our children and our community.
